We started this blog in 2017 and a lot has changed over the years but one thing remains clear: people worry about money.
They worry about how expensive college is and how they’ll be able to afford it. They worry about what happens if their car breaks down or how they’ll find the money to take care of a parent as they get older.

It’s heartbreaking to hear how much of their lives are controlled by these big problems that only seem to be getting bigger, it’s clear they’re stuck in a cycle of anxiety, frustration, and despair because they can’t imagine a solution that’s big enough to fix them.
If you’re nodding your head, you’re in the right place and you’re in good hands. We’ve felt all of the above and more. And after having thousands of conversations about money I can assure you, you are not alone and you are not crazy. You are telling the truth.
But in the spirit of being honest, I do have to tell you this—and I truly hate to be the bearer of bad news—trying to save your way through it is like trying to peel an orange with one hand behind your back.
Because it doesn’t matter how much money you make, how smart you are, or how hard you work—if you don’t put your money to work, you will always be working for it.
